Building Hope: A Note from Our Board Chair

Dear Friends of Dorchester Habitat for Humanity, It is an honor to serve as the Board Chair of Dorchester Habitat for Humanity. As I begin this role, I am inspired by the incredible impact our organization has made throughout our community and grateful for the dedicated volunteers, donors, partners, staff, and homeowners who make that work possible. At Dorchester Habitat, we believe that everyone deserves a safe, affordable place to call home. Stable housing creates opportunities for families to thrive, strengthens neighborhoods, and helps build a brighter future for generations to come. Every home we build represents more than walls and a roof—it represents hope, stability, and the power of a community coming together to make a difference. As we look ahead, our commitment remains strong. We will continue working to expand access to affordable homeownership, support local families on their path to stability, and strengthen our partnerships throughout Dorchester County. The need for affordable housing remains significant, but so does the generosity and determination of this community. I invite you to join us in this important work.
