The Mallard Family

Shawanda Mallard will be the next recipient of the new Habitat house in St. George.

Shawanda has two children, Ashley (16 years) and Victoria (14 years).

The Mallards currently live in an almost 40- year old two- bedroom mobile home located on a busy highway. This house has no central heat system. It is warmed by a gas and kerosene heater located in the living room.

The family desires an affordable, decent place to live. Shawanda has been working full time at the local supermarket toward that goal for her and her children. Not only is Shawanda working full time, but she is working over 400 hours with our volunteers to help build her dream house.
