Dorchester Habitat for Humanity is not sleeping this winter!
On January 7th, the “Friends of Habitat Gala” celebrated those associated with Habitat through their volunteering and donations.

On January 14th, Dorchester Habitat for Humanity was privileged to be the beneficiary of the proceeds from an incredible “Wild Game Supper.”

Coming up on January 26th, at 6 pm sharp at Clay Hill Mid
dle School in Ridgeville, a New Family Application Meeting will be held to make more people aware of Dorchester Habitat for Humanity’s homeownership program. To date there are more than 10 eligible partner families!

Beginning in February, a “Habitat 101” class will be offered to anyone interested in learning more about the affiliate and all that is offered.
On February 4th from 9 am – 12 pm, the ReStore Business Expo will offer customers a chance to learn about area businesses and the products and services they provide. Free hot dogs will be offered to all customers making a purchase, thanks to the Food Lion on Central Avenue in Summerville!

On February 11th, Lowe’s will be sponsoring a “Spring Clean-Up” in which they will receive donations for Dorchester Habitat for Humanity in the parking lot from 9 am to 2 pm

On Saturday, February 18th, Stephanie Lee will become Dorchester Habitat for Humanity’s 42nd homeowner in an 11 am Dedication Ceremony at 202 Miken Lane, in “The Park” at Corey Woods. All are welcome to attend!

On Thursday, March 15th, volunteers will be raising the walls on the Women Build home at 8 am. Anyone interested in participating is welcome to contact Lindsey Stewart, Volunteer Coordinator, at (843) 851-1414 before the event.
